I recently changed the WiFi channel in my AP to 12 and noticed the light-manager was not able to connect to the network anymore. First thought it was the end of my light-manager. But changing the WiFi channel in my AP to 7 and the light-manager was able to connect to my WiIF network. Is this a known issue?

This is right, the Light-Manager Air supports channels 1 - 11, not channels above. This is because of bogus restrictions of US regulation authorities. The Wi-Fi module comes from USA, this is why this rule apply.
